1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using BotForge, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you are using BotForge on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you have the authority to bind that organization to these terms.
2. Description of service
BotForge lets you create, train, and deploy AI chatbots that answer questions using your own knowledge base. The service includes a dashboard, a knowledge base ingestion pipeline, a playground for testing bots, and embeddable chat widgets for your websites.
3. Accounts
You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
4. Subscription plans & billing
BotForge offers Starter, Growth, and Scale plans, each with its own bot, message, and feature limits as described on our pricing page. Paid plans renew automatically each billing cycle unless cancelled. Usage beyond your plan's message allowance may be billed as overage or require an upgrade.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use BotForge to train or deploy bots that generate unlawful, abusive, deceptive, or harmful content, to scrape or attack third-party systems, or to circumvent usage limits or security controls.
6. Your content & knowledge base
You retain ownership of the documents, text, and URLs you upload to train your bots ("Your Content"). You grant BotForge a license to process, index, and embed Your Content solely to provide the service to you. You're responsible for ensuring you have the rights to upload Your Content.
7. AI-generated responses
Chatbot responses are generated by large language models and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date even when grounded in your knowledge base. You're responsible for reviewing bot behavior before deploying it to customers, and for any decisions made based on bot output.
8. Intellectual property
BotForge and its original content, features, branding, and design are owned by BotForge Labs and protected by intellectual property laws. These terms don't grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding beyond what's needed to use the service.
9. Termination
You may stop using BotForge and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where reasonably possible. Upon termination, your bots, knowledge base, and conversation data may be deleted.
10. Disclaimers & limitation of liability
BotForge is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, BotForge Labs is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including reliance on AI-generated content.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We'll notify you of material changes by email or in-product notice. Continued use of BotForge after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
